Binghamton vs University at Buffalo (SUNY) For Pre-Med

Hello, I'm new here and I'm having a bit of an issue finally deciding between these two choices, UB and Binghamton. I will be attending university as a biology major intending to fulfill pre-med prerequisites to eventually attend medical school (planning on being a practicing physician, though not sure which type). Anyway, to roughly give an idea of where I'm at, I prefer Buffalo for the medical facilities it has on campus and the location (not going to lie, Binghamton seems depressing in comparison to Buffalo, but I have a sentimental attachment to Buffalo as well) while I prefer Binghamton for academic reputation and perhaps additional individual attention.

In addition, there's somethng bugging me quite a bit that I feel may be, unjustly, swaying my decision but to my disappointment, I have not been accepted in UB's honors college and I'm really obsessing over this as my SAT scores were more than enough and my GPA, while below, was unweighted in the process (AP/ACE courses, I feel, brought it down a bit). At this moment, I want reasons to lean towards Buffalo, but I'm genuinely quite discouraged by not being part of that honors college. I feel as though I'm now going to be lost in a sea of other students without being able to take the courses I wish to take at the proper times and without the individual attention I might in certain cases (my Calculus fulfillment for med school - struggle with advanced mathematics).

Does it really make all that much of a difference (not being in the honors college) in regards to anything, including medical school acceptance, and without the honors college, how would you rank Binghamton against Buffalo for pre-med? Does anyone know acceptance rates into medical school for Buffalo graduates? I plan to apply, regardless of which school I choose, for the UB Early Assurance Program (only SAT score I have thus far is 50 points short of the mark necessary at a two-score rating of 1350, but I'm currently signing up to retake the SAT here at the end of my senior year in high school). Does anyone know acceptance rates for that and whether it might be influenced by which school I attend? To anyone who reads this, I thank you for your time. :)
