<p>Hi, does anyone know about the difficulty of Bio 1B in the Fall versus the Spring? Is it like Chem where Spring was much easier than the Fall? POWER, M is the professor if it matters.</p>

<p>Historically, Biology 1B has been easier in Spring.
Some other people thought that might have changed when Huelsenbeck took Slatkin’s place, but they were wrong, as Huelsenbeck basically conducted the evolution exam the same way as Slatkin. I had expected this (as I had been previously told that Slatkin is Huelsenbeck’s mentor)</p>
<p>For fall, the new evolution teach is unknown, as Mishler who taught the fall evolution section (and apparently was very difficult) is not teaching it anymore. The person who replaces Mishler could either be as difficult as Mishler or be much easier, but no one knows yet.</p>
<p>the course will end up being on a curve no matter who teaches… so just study harder and better than your peers</p>
