<p>I know its a little late, but it has been bothering me for quite a while. I got an A- in Bio 1b, and here's how my grades broke down: </p>
<p>Lab: 222.75/250</p>
<p>Midterms: 292/298</p>
<p>Final: 127/150</p>
<p>I know that the lab section is based on a curve, and I think that my section's average was about 84-85 percent. assuming the maximum, an 85%, my grade would not drop by anything, and my cumulative score would be </p>
<p>641.75/700 = 91.67%</p>
<p>I know that 90% is a guaranteed -A, but I really feel as though my grade is high enough for an A, unless the lab really does screw everyone up that badly, or unless everyone did really well. Anyways, I just wanted to what someone who got an A had score wise, and if this is something I should approach/email feldman (moser?) about. Thanks.</p>
<p>Edit: I guess what I'm also wondering was if there was a grading error - I'm not really sure if thats that common since this is all digital though...</p>
