What did everyone think of the first midterm for Bio 1B? Personally I came in thinking I was prepared and proceeded to guess on way too many questions.. Also only 33 questions?? That leaves only 3 questions before we're already at the B mark... :( :( :(

My GSI told me that we won’t get our midterm grades back until probably a couple of weeks from now. I’m so nervous already.

The question and wording were tricky :\ Especially the last two.

sounds like shabel. ecology is a tricky topic. its all about trying to trick you with answer choices that seem likely. and all the midterms are about 33 questions. The final last year was 50 questions - 33 for plant midterm and then 17 questions from the entire semester. Not sure if it will be structured like that again.

It was Shabel. For us, we have a separate third midterm (not on final day but the week after Thanksgiving break) and a final that includes a total of 54 questions (17 per section).

Yep… pretty much sums up Bio1A/1B exams.

i took bio1b over the summer, shabel taught all 3 sections. i thought ecology was the easiest imo…only missed 2 questions on it. evolution, i messed up though, lol.

yeah i remember reading that q about the # of species thinking wow all of these could potentially be the answer o_o Y U SO TRICKY SHABEL
