<p>The student store says we need the 8th edition of Biology with Mastering Biology by Campbell, but the cheapest copy I found is over 100 bucks. For all the people that took Bio 1B, do we really need the most recent edition? Is the book useful for that class?</p>
<p>It’s useful for labs (though I rarely used it). Not useful at all for lecture.</p>
<p>i assume you will be taking bio 1a/l as well in the future. it is a very useful book for bio 1a. i dont think you will have a problem though if you get the 7th edition.</p>
