Bio 93: UCI custom made 1st editions vs. 2nd edition

I need help with buying the bio93 custom made edition. i heard that the bookstore is selling the 2nd editoin NEW. im wondering if its okay to buy the 1st edition instead since its much cheaper buying it used from a friend. can someone tell me whats the difference between the two?

I have the non-customized Campbell and Reece 7th edition Biology book instead of the UCI customized edition. I think that'll serve me better and cost less (35 bucks..) instead of like 70 for each qtr. Do you guys know if it's acceptable to use the full edition?

it most definitely is acceptable,
i am an incoming freshman and used the same book for ap bio, the full edition
apparently can be used for bio 94 as well
but bio 97 is a different story.........

Does anyone know if the page numbers from the UCI custom edition correlate exactly with the full edition of the CAmpbell/Reece Biology book? Busciglio's website emphasizes that you should/must buy the book from the bookstore. eek. Any tips?

Maximaboy, sorry off topic, I know but do you by any chance have Busciglio's website? I have this website, http://www.faculty.uci.edu/scripts/UCIFAcultyProfiles/BioSci/alphaprofile_nb.CFM?ID=4959
but it just talks about his research and such.

Thanks

go to the EEE website and then go to class websites link..it should be listed under Biological Sciences. I'm assuming youre asking for a class website.

Thanks, yeah I was looking for the course website.
