i know colleges want students to take as many Ap courses as possible. but do colleges have a preference of which Ap course to take? im debating whether i should take Bio AP or computer science ap. someone told me that it depends on my major. i want to major in something that deals with math, but i also plan to do premed.... so bio Ap or computer science AP?

depends on what other science classes you have - Comp Sci is considered a math-type elective. If you have 4 years of lab science already, then it won't matter. If not 4 years, then Bio.

i only have three math and three science so far... with compsci AP, i would have 5 math courses(calculus AB/BC.. being the other course i will take next yr) i would still have 3 science. with bioAP i would have 4 math/4 science
would it hurt me that bad to take compSci?

I'm in AP Bio right now, it's pretty easy...and I suck at science-related classes.

TT:

of course, it all depends. In general, highly selective colleges prefer to see 4 years of each academic subject, including foreign language. But, if you think you will go the premed route, then I do recommend Bio since you will have a leg up in bio when you get to college. Since med schools look at gpa first, having a strong background when you get to college could help. Just my $0.02.
