Bio ap sophomore year instead of spanish 3

Hey, so I have the opportunity to take bio ap as a sophomore and Chem honors but I would have to stop spanish until junior year because I would not be able to have a zero period. Should I take the ap and stop Spanish and then pick up Spanish 3 as a junior, or should I not take the ap? Thanks

The most competitive colleges want to see four years of math, science, English, social studies and foreign language. If you are interested in the most competitive colleges, I would take the Spanish. Any school that will be impressed by the AP will be more impressed by your persistence in foreign language. Possible exception: specialized science/engineering schools.

Naval. If I can take both the Spanish and bio ap with a zero? Should I ?

If you can swing all five of your core subjects (math, chem, Spanish, English, social studies) plus any other req’s (zero, PE?) plus AP bio, then sure, that’d be ideal.

If it’s one or the other then Spanish is your best bet, if you’re aiming for the most competitive colleges.

Ok. Thanks.
