i wna know about their bio and premed courses- are they special, and their overall school...? because Im havn a hard time writing the supplements "why i wna go to the school". Im interested in biology as well as premed. but itll be nice if i get in school that has premed courses- evn though i know that it doesnt really make a difference- and that its just a combination of courses. I have heard that if u chose bio, theres a better chance of getting accepted than premed. so which one should i chose for these schools? bio or premed..? yeah i know im asking a lot- but its an emergencyy..!!!!

Most colleges do not have a major called "premed". Premed includes just about any major, but often is biology, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, BME.

I'd guess that any of these fine colleges have a "pre-med advisor" who counsels students on the courses to take in preparation for medical school.

Start looking at the web sites very carefully. Look at the majors offered, the classes offered, the availability (or not) for undergrad. research. From the web sites maintained by individual faculty members, you should be able to determine what kind of research they do, where they publish, and what they have published. Look at student organizations, evidence for community involvement programs, etc. Talk about the availability to study a broad curriculum if that is important, or the ability to focus from the beginning, if that is important to you.

You ought to have some idea of why you want to go to these schools. Let those factors be the starting point of your investigation.
