what does e/m mean? I want to take an sat II bio that pertains to the "biology" course i took in 9th grade? which book should i get? bio e/m? what the hell...

E: ecological
M: molecular
E/M means that the main test is 60 questions and there are 20 questions devoted to either E or M. You can take either the E or M section but not both.
So it would depend on which one you are stronger in, ecology or molecular.

just get the barron's SAT II bio there's ecology AND molecular in there, which is the way its supposed to be.

^ basically ALL sat II bio books have both E and M

yeah I know schrizto, but barron's review is much better

get barrons,Memorize it, get your 800...

BE happy...

agree with xylem101, though I got a 780...

seriously!!!???? all i have to do is memorize it???

if only it was as easy as you're making it sound..

true...im using princeton review..not so bad..

Lol don't listen to xylem he got a 790. Lies Xylem Lies! =p

ROFL
Haha yea but the mistake i made wasnt from lack of studying, it was a dumb mistake that i knew the answer To but just had to be STUPID enough to pick the DUMBEST answer EVER (i picked Succesion instead of Coevolution)
o and another mistake came from failure to anazlyze correctly Sighs

I'm going to have to recommend Kaplan for bio! 800 with it.

i'm planning to take the bio sat ii this nov. did you guys take ap bio before taking the test, or did you just "memorize" prep books. i just finished the barrons, and hopefully, that'll be enough to at least get 750ish??

well you can't really determine the "best" prep book. i'm sure xylem and goldshadow were both excellent in biology and the prep books they studied from only had minimal effects for them.

it's really which prep book u feel is right for you.
