I know this has probably been asked a lot but I have looked through a lot of threads and haven't really found the answer.

Which one generally looks better for colleges? E? or M? By the way, I am applying to nursing school; so maybe the harder one? I don't really know.

I read on some threads that most people just chose on the day of the test. Does that mean you did both Bio E and M on the test day? Or did you just look through the pages on both tests?

Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you!

you really can’t decide which you will take until you are sitting with the exam infront of you.
I planned on taking Biology M, but when i saw the questions I look E instead.

E is alot easier, but it has a harsher curve
the opposite can be said about M

In theory, you should prepare for one or the other before the day of the exam; you won’t be stressed out with trying to figure out which test is “easier” on test day. Besides, the first 60 questions tests you on BOTH material (E and M), so you need to have to degree of knowledge for both subjects.

Personally, if you are going into nursing, M “might” look better, but I’m sure it really does not matter. Although E may be a little bit easier, you have to KNOW YOUR STUFF. E consists mostly of vocab terms and you either know them or you don’t. M on the other hand is more general; they test you on cycles, processes, systems, etc. so you don’t really need to know specifics (most of the time). I took M and I thought that it was easy. I would recommend buying the College Boad Offical Subject Test Book; it tells you how much of each topic you will be required to know. It helped me a lot.

But again, it really does not matter which test you take…just do well!
