Bio In May... Help Please

I'm taking my first subject tests in May, one of which is bio, and I'm nervous about how well I will do on it. I took a general Biology course in 9th grade (I'm a junior now) and I did well in it, but I have forgotten a lot of the material. This year I'm in an Adv. Cellular and Molecular Bio course, so the molecular stuff shouldn't be too bad. I'm shooting for at least 650 on this. If I study the Kaplan book for 30 min. - 1 hr. a night until the test, do think I can achieve my goal?

Also, is 650 considered a decent score? I'm not shooting for the Ivy League, but I want a score that won't detract from application at some upper level colleges and universities. Thanks!

an hour a night until the may 3 test is over 30 hours.. you will probably break 750 if u study that much

You should be fine. Just study 30 mins. to an hour and you should get at least a 650.

What I heard that works is that the week before the test, start taking some practice tests then.

i dont really like kaplans. it might be ok for you since you're taking advanced bio, but id recommend barrons or even cliffs for ap bio. a lot of my friends did well on ap bio but scored 700 on the sat subject test.

Mousewhip:), your study plan looks awesome. Stick to it.

If you could get Barrons ot augment Kaplan you might come
out looking even stronger....

:)

is PR+barron's a little overkill? or is it the more the merrier? btw, i'm shooting for the june date

I've found PR to have really good explanations, at least for my learning style (I'm studying for the May date as well, hoping to break 750)
