Bio major with a minor in math?

Do minors even really matter? And if they do, how would a math minor be perceived, when combined with a bio major? Also, what would be the lowest GPA that's acceptable/marketable for someone with this major and minor (I dont expect to fail or just get by but I know it will be difficult..and i know that at the end of the day your GPA matters)

What is your goal after you graduate?

It may be worthwhile to consider a math major with biology minor, or double major, since a bachelor’s degree in math is likely to be more employable than a bachelor’s degree in biology.

I’d rather see an (applied) math major with a bio minor. Undergrad biology or chemistry degrees are only useful as stepping stones to med, pharm, dental etc school. Try getting a job with it and you will be a $12 hour benefitless temp if you are lucky.
