Bio major

I like bio, but there arent any jobs with a bs in bio. Should I still put my major as bio when applying to schools? On both bio e and m I got 690s, a 5 on the ap test/ 8 uconn credits for bio, and am in a bio club. I feel like applying for bio will only help me because that is my best subject, so should I just apply for bio even if I don't know what I really want to major in?

Bios= stepping stone to med or other professional school or poverty.

The worthwhile majors are accounting, engineering, HR, applied math, nursing, finance, economics anything that leads to a direct decent job.

Being a Bio major means grad school or medical school. If you’re looking for something you can get a great job right after a B.S., look away. And look away quickly.

If you don’t know what you want to major in, just check ‘undecided’ or ‘undecided science’ or whatever is on the application.

By Grad school we mean a nonscience grad program MBA, Master of Science Accounting or professional school (physicians assistant, physical therapy, dental, pharmacy) otherwise you will be either working for a temp agency or McDonalds. That biology degree really comes in handy while flipping patties of ground bovine.

Leave it undecided and wait until your second semester second year to decide what you want to major in. You don’t have to make the decision right now.
