bio majors juniors and up

Care to share your sophomore experiences with ochem and bio 97,98,99. I'm scared ****less. Would you guys regret taking alot of units while enrolling these units? I have 18 units as of now. 1 ge class, math 2j, 97, ochem with king, and lab. Is it too much?

I almost got straight A’s last year but I’m not really that smart.

I’m also hired for work study. Should I drop my GE. I didnt do so well on my freshman year cuz im one of those people who got distracted in the dorms. Now Im pretty focused.

Keep your GE if it’s at least a somewhat laidback or easy class. You might not need it, but they’re good GPA savers in case you don’t do so well in one of the tougher classes. Although if you think you’d do better just focusing on the main classes then by all means drop the GE.

BigBurrito, im also taking 18 units with bio 97 and o chem. im pretty sure you have a few weeks to decide whether or not you want to keep the classes. I would just see how it goes those first two weeks and if you find it too difficult to keep up drop the GE or the math (whichever one you feel is more difficult for you or time consuming) :)
