BIO or CHEM or MATHS2 preparation

Hey guys,

im in international student and im taking bio, chem and maths2 this coming june. i never took AP thing so im really not familiar with it. i just want to ask what books are great for getting 800, i heard Barrons and Princeton Review are great books so should i get both of them for all these 3 subjects and what editions or would you guys recommend something else? and also how long is it good to prepare yourself.

If you have taken one of these courses before, how long did you study eg. how many hours in a day and wht resources did you use?

Any answers to these questions would be so helpful! It’s my first time taking SAT2 and im really nervous about it because the results will be my final results as they will go directly to my universities so its very important to me to get atleast 800.

Thanks

You don’t need to have taken the corresponding AP classes to do well on SAT II exams, but it can help in some cases.

I only took Math II and Physics, so I won’t say anything about Bio or Chem.

“At least 800” means the same as “exactly 800.”

how did you do in your math II and what resources did you use? would be great. sorry, i meant exactly 800, mind me.

800 w/ no additional prep. I prepared for and did a lot of math contests in HS (e.g. AMC10/12, AIME) which definitely helped. Also, Math II is known for having a fairly lenient grading curve; you can miss a few questions (out of 50) and still score 800.
