I was wondering which, either bio or chem, would be better for a student planning on going in to medicine. In either case I would have to study for both over the summer for none of my courses this year or next will be involved in them. I've been told Chem is probably better, but I'd like to know what others think. Also, are there difficulties comparable?

I did better on Bio. I would say take both if they require 3 SATs, or take whichever one you do better on with practice tests. I probably would have done better on Chem if I’d studied as much as I did on Bio, but I thought a 750 would be good enough which I got on two practice tests in a row. Then I realized my 760 was only the 80th percentile or so :(. Oh well, I took it after Honors Chem so maybe colleges will be nice.
