Bio program

How competitive is the bio program at northeastern? Is it really that competitive? After browsing the admissions pages..it seems like acceptances are really random..19-20 SAT kids are a lot more prevalent in acceptances than >22's. I dont get it.

19-20 SAT ??? What does that mean?

I think it means 1900-2000?

Lol sorry. I was too lazy to the out the 00.

I was in bio for 2.5 years before I switched to the behavioral neuroscience program.

the bio group is very spread out. I know people with 4.0s (who do have a social life as well!), I know people stuck in the middle and I know some dumb kids who really shouldn’t be in science. the bio curriculum is very intense and organic chemistry is not for the faint of heart (even BNS has to take it).
I couldn’t tell you about SATs now(when I got in I had a 2080 an I had taken the bio SAT iis but they didn’t count for my app), but it’s like the 4th biggest major at the school. they people in science.
