Bio sci major need- are my classes alright?

Hello, I will be an entering freshman this fall as a biological sciences major. I have signed up for the classes of Bio Sci 93, Chemistry 1a,Bio Sci 2a (1 unit), and Anthropology 2a. Now, I understand that I need to take Math 2a, and Writing 39b. However, Math is now restricted from more class additions until Sep 18, while Writing is full. I am now concerned whether or not I will be behind in completing my required courses within the time. Do you think my schedule is okay for this fall or should I try to add the math class as soon as it becomes Sep 18.

So I have 13 units right now, do you think this is alright or will I be behind/ or need to cram later in the year?

Some advice will be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Well it’s all up to you in the end, but in case you’re wondering, it’s not the end of the world if you can’t get into the classes. I didn’t take Math 2A until the end of my sophomore year and I took writing 29B my spring quarter (of freshman year) You have to take General Ed classes anyway so if you can’t get into one class, take another one. I think your current schedule is perfect, actually. Got the major required classes for bio, and a GE, and with minimal units so you can get used to college first.

i heard you don’t really have to worry about getting math and writing done–just make sure to enroll in 39b in winter/spring, depending on which one you think might be better.
