<p>Biochem/cell bio is harder than general bio, no doubt about that. General bio is thus the way to go, assuming you don't have a strong interest in research.</p>
<p>i enjoy doing research i'm just wondering if you have to take a lot more chem and a lot of math courses if you are doing a biochem/cell bio major or if the math required is about the same</p>
<p>math is the same. for biochem/bio, there's an extra upper div chem lab class. otherwise it's the same. since you're intrested in research, it shouldn't matter too much. you could gain some extra lab techniques? </p>
