<p>Is Biochemistry an impacted major at the UC's? Specifically UCSD, UCLA, or UCB?
Because I'm not sure if I want to put it down, I might put some something else and then change my major if it's impacted, since impacted majors tend to lower chances.</p>

UCB may be slightly impacted, I'm not sure. UCSD is not impacted (Biomedical engineering is though, I believe). UCLA isn't impacted. I'm not sure they even have biochem..
Do look it up though... it should be on the UC app on the first few pages when you select your major.</p>

<p>Even if it was impacted, it wouldn't do much good to put something else down and transfer later because most impacted majors are very hard to transfer into. But I don't think biochemistry is impacted at any of the UC campuses.</p>
