biochemistry at Marquette

My son is interested in majoring in Biochemistry. Does anyone know how good Marquette's biochemistry department is. Do many students go on to good graduate schools after majoring in biochemistry at Marquette?
My son's stats are very good. He attends a rigorous high school and has taken AP and Honors classes every year. This year he is taking four AP classes with an A+ in Chemistry AP and A's in AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus, and AP Micro/Macro Economics. He has a 4.3 weighted GPA. ACT score was 30.
He has been accepted into Marquette's Honors Program. However, he has also been accepted at UW-Madison, Carleton College, Oberlin College, Kenyon College, and Tulane University. His finacial package is the best (excellent) at Marquette, but we want to give hime the best opportunity of going to a good school where he will be challenged, have opportunities, and have some hope of getting into a good grad school if he chooses to pursue that goal.
He is least interested in attending UW-Madison because of its size and rumors about lack of professor contact and difficulty getting into classes. Besides Marquette, he is most interested in Carleton College, but no good financial package here.
Any advice or thoughts from students or alumni with knowlege of Marquette's Science majors???

It's not good.
