<p>I'm currently a chemistry major looking to transfer into the biochemistry/ cell biology major. The only problem is it's impacted so there's no guarantee that I would get in. To get into the major, you must take all the lower division courses and then apply at the end. They admit you based on GPA. The problem arises mainly from the fact that I'm in Phys2a right now and greatly struggling and being a premed, this could hamper my GPA. So should I drop Phys2a and take Phys1a next quarter to try and get into the major. Or should I just stick with the Phys-2 series as a safety precaution? Thanks a bunch.</p>
<p>Why not just finish out the quarter… you have a week left, and then drop down to Phys 1B? :D</p>
