I went on their website and it said that they do not admit by major for L&S. </p>
<p>Since biochemistry is in it I assumed it was not by major thus not impacted</p>
<p>I don’t believe biochemistry is capped at any of those universities. However, you do need to worry about getting your classes each semester and graduating on time.</p>
<p>Impaction simply means over subscribed - there are more qualified applicants than seats available. You can’t get in by meeting the basic standards. All the STEM majors at the schools you list are over-subscribed by any definition. </p>
