I’m interested in USC because people say it’s not as crowded and impersonal as public schools (UCLA, Berkeley). I want to major in Biochemistry, but I noticed that USC doesn’t have a big program for it. On USC’s website they say the degree is jointly offered through the department of biology and chemistry which “reflects the interdisciplinary study” of Biochem. USC not having its own Biochem department sounds kinda sketchy to me. Is the Biochem major at USC really as good as they try to make it sound? btw there were only 27 biochem graduates this year I heard
