Biochemistry or neuroscience?

I'm a premed having a bit of trouble choosing between neuroscience and biochemistry. I'm fairly interested in both but moreso neuroscience, but I don't want to screw myself over if med school doesn't work out and as far as I know the job opportunities for biochem are fantastic while neuro is not so much. Keeping this all in mind, here are some additional academic qualities of mine that might affect the outcome: I absolutely hate physics, loathe math but I'm decent at it, I have a very good memory, and a decent work ethic. What do you guys think I should do?

I to was thinking about neuroscience but my father told me jobs would be nearly impossible. He advised me to major in molecular biology, and go for pre-med that way because as you take these classes you prepare yourself for the MCAT, and classes in med school is you know the biology of cells and molecules. I plan to do this, and when I graduate I would sitll do research in Neuroscience while staying alongside the payroll of a MD.
