<p>biochemistry would have more biology components. each college has different courses for the majors, although some are probably very similar. Well, the great thing about US is that you can always just be "undeclared" as a major.</p>
<p>what do you want to do post-grad? the two majors will help to open up different doors when you graduate.</p>
<p>Biochemistry has more to do with biomolecules like lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, etc. It"s quite literally the study of the molecular basis of life. A lot of upper level courses deal with genetics and disease.</p>
