BioE:premed @ UCSD

<p>How high is the competition for BioE premed at UCSD?
I'm concerned about earning a high GPA for med school, but I've heard UCSD premed/bioE program is a lot harder to do better in than other schools' bio, for instance, USC (biology).
Is UCSD BioE as highly ranked and hard as people make it out to be?
Because I think between USC and UCSD, I'll pick one to get better grades in.</p>

<p>this won't answer your questions, but there's is something to be said about Bioengineering: premed. This is not an impacted course and is not ABET accredited. You would probably want to switch your major either Bioengineering or Bioengineering: Biotechnology before it is too late. You can always switch out if you want.</p>
