Bioengineering At SCU

Hey, i was looking at colleges to apply to, and i got a few emails from Santa Clara University. My major is Bioengineering, so i wanted to hear about their program from different people

how is the engineering school, and is it good for bio,
also, will i have many opportunities to conduct research?
also, how are the professors there
i am a senior in high school

DD graduated from SCU this past June with degrees in bioengineering and biology. Her senior engineering project was a research project. She felt that the she got an excellent education really excellent!! SCU has a well regarded engineering program overall. My husband is an engineer and agreed that DD got a great engineering education at SCU.

Hmm, sounds appealing, but do you know if SCU’s students are diverse?
I am neither Caucasian nor catholic

The student body is a mix but isn’t as diverse as downtown L.A. However, the students are very welcoming and friendly. DD isn’t Catholic (she is caucasian). She also was from across the country and didn’t know a soul or the area…and had no trouble making friends or finding things to do. The greater San Jose area is a diverse area. If you live close enough to visit, I would suggest you do so.
