<p>Yea lydia, I am having that same concern. I am hoping "biomedical engineering" and "bioengineering" will be considered the same.</p>

<p>Anyone looking at engineering as a major should check programs for ABET accreditation. Many scholarships, and even some hiring companies, use that as a criteria. Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering are in the same category in ABET. Harvard does not have an accredited program.</p>
