Bioengineering Quality-Very Important

I was recently accepted into the Bioengineering Major at both UCSD and UCLA. Although I've heard that UCSD has the better Bioengineering program, would anyone (including past and former students) rank the UCLA program as still good. My ultimate goal is to enter medical school, and I know that although neither the major itself nor the ranking of your program count, I also wanted to know which university has better research, extracurricular, volunteer, and financial aid/scholarship opportunities.

Finally, for anyone who did Bioengineering at UCLA, was it hard for you to find a job?
