<p>Although Merced and Santa Cruz do not have an accretited bioengineering program just because both the programs are relatively new.(Though they both plan to become accretited soon)
would it be alright to trust that they will?
because i no everyone says not to go into programs that aren’t accretited</p>
<p>I think I went on ABET once and found out that UCLA and Berkeley weren't accredited either. If the school is liable to get accreditation eventually, it might not be that bad. Still, if you have the chance to get into a program that IS accredited, I would take that chance (from the looks of it, only UCSD is in UC)</p>
