BIOG 1440 vs 1445

<p>Dear CC community,</p>

<p>I was wandering if anyone from CC can tell me the difference between two Bio intro courses: BIOG 1445 and 1440.
I know that 1440 is 3 credits while 1445 4 credits, but why? Is 1445 significantly harder than 1440?
DId anyone take these courses? How are the instructors? What is individualized instruction anyway?</p>

<p>Hi! 1445 is auto tutorial. It’s basically an online class, where you study independently, then go down to a testing center for prelims and finals, but it’s kinda at your own pace. 1440 is a traditional lecture class. Let me know if you have other questions </p>
