hey guys im gonna be applying this fall and am probably going on the bio-related/premed track. CAn u guys tell me which schools are ranked high in these areas for undergrad (u can list them here or list websites with more info on this)? also, what exactly is BME (biomed engineering). what does a typical student learn or need to take. so far i only know JHU and Duke but i hear JHU is extremely competative and im not really good under pressure but am used to handling stress. thanks.

I guess we are in the same boat. I am also doing research on BME majors and any other bio related majors.

JHU BME is, as you know, highly competitive because enrollment is limited. So is MIT Biological Engineering (BE) major (heck, just getting into MIT is hard enough) If you are a good candidate, you might want to apply to MIT early action (to see if you can get in) and JHU regular. I would if I can, but I am not so confident.
