Biological Sciences - General Education

I have a query regarding the Biological Sciences sequence I will need to take in order to fulfill my General Education requirements. I was always under the impression I would be able to fulfill my requirement by taking the BIOS 10110 (Biological Issues and Paradigms) course followed by one more topical course in Biology.

Today, as I was checking out the time schedules website for Biology ( http://timeschedules.uchicago.edu/view.cfm?dept=BIOS&term=72 ) I noticed another requirement. According to the website, students enrolled in BIOS 10110 need to enroll in BIOS 10900 (Writing in the Biological Sciences) as a corequisite. So, essentially I will need to take THREE courses with two in the same quarter?

Writing in the Biological Sciences isn't a full course. Don't worry it about it. When you take hum, you also have to take Writing Seminars. They extra classes are included in the main course, pretty much.
