I just got an offer of admission for the Biological Sciences program at the University of Toronto. What I plan on doing is finish my undergraduate studies, and then apply to Medical School in order to eventually become a doctor of some sort. However, I fail to grasp the steps involved in me reaching my goal. So what I was wondering is whether the Biological Sciences program is considered to be pre-med? :S After graduating from uni with the program do I directly apply to Medical school? Or does biological sciences have nothing to do with going to medical school at all :S? As you can probably see I'm very confused, so help would be most welcome :))

by pre med, they mean that you will get all med school pre reqs out of the way while you major in BIO or whatever. like i was told on here before, you can major in history and still get into med school. as long as you have all your pre med reqs, high gpa, and good mcat scores, you can major in whatever you want.
