Biology and Biochemistry texts to study for GRE

What are some recommendations for good texts to use to prepare for bio or biochem GRE subject tests?

Some of the standard texts in the field by subdiscipline:

Genetics/Molecular: Alberts et al. "Molecular Biology of the Cell"
Biochem: Lehninger's "Principles of Biochemistry"
Cell/Developmental: Gilbert "Developmental Biology"
General Biology: Campbell and Reece "Biology"
Ecology: Krebs "Ecology"
Evolution: Futuyma "Evolution"

Leejwwc's suggestions are great. For the Biology subject test, I also recommend the Princeton Review book and the Schaum's Outline for College Biology.

Also, for the biochemistry test, Stryer's Biochemistry is excellent.

Also - these are a little bit like "Biology for Dummies" - but the "Instant Notes" series helped me out tremendously. I checked out the Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Genetics Instant Notes books out from my school library. They covered almost every topic that was on the exam, and they are super accessible and well-organized.

You should be able to inter-library loan these, I think they are fairly popular.

I also recommend "World of the Cell" by Becker. It's less daunting than Molecular Biology of the Cell.

Also, I don't know how relevant this is for you squidbilly, but if you're interested in plant biology: Taiz and Zeiger "Plant Physiology" is a great resource. Hope you can find some of these books if you need, and best of luck!

Thanks to all of you. I had actually found the Streyer and C&R books on my own and have a shopping list on Amazon with them in it. Any ideas on flash cards?
