Biology and Economics Double Major?

My current goal in life is to become a venture capitalist specializing in biotech companies. Yes I know that I will not be able to get a job like that straight out of college but I am willing to work for it. I plan on doing some i-banking out of college to get some experience, network with others in the field, and help pay off college costs. After I'm set with that, I'll try to get an MBA and then hopefully start the venture capitalism.

So my question now is whether majoring in Biology will help me at all. First of all I enjoy Biology and the school I will go to, Duke, has a good bio program. I'm also doing this to help differentiate me from other candidates apply with just an Economics major. The problem I have is that I don't know whether this majors combination will actually have any value. Will an undergraduate Biology degree mean anything when I'm applying for a business position even if it pertains to the biological sciences? Will it help more than something more traditional like Math or Stats?

Thanks in advance for any insight/opinions/advice.
