biology AP!!!!!

well in freshman year i took bio g/t and i didnt do the homework or listen and class and ended with a C average. Im taking AP Bio Senior year and I want to get an A this year but I dont remember anything from Bio and it seems to be based off the stuff from then. What do I do? read the textbook?

I think you answered your own question…

You would certainly profit if you remember anything from normal Bio. But if you don’t, that just means you’ll have to review and study more in the textbook.

Actually I’d advise against reading the textbook.

Instead absorb through osmosis.

Reading textbooks for content-based courses like AP Bio doesn’t do much, to be honest.

meadow36 wat do u mean

ignore meadow, id say read and UNDERSTAND the chapter before your teacher lectures/teaches it. Then focus in on what the teacher teaches/lecture for all the quizzes/test

At my school, you wouldn’t be allowed to take AP Bio with a C in Bio 1. But, I would advise reading the textbook to understand things and then take notes during lectures and stay awake.

I mean you should read the freaking textbook…and memorize it. Although idk why you’re taking it if you apparently suck at Bio. It’s probably going to be difficult for you.
