I'm currently an aspiring dentist who is considering double majoring in Biology and Computer Science.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this a good idea? I'm definitely going to major in Biology. Should I minor instead in Computer Science and take more classes that would benefit me during dental school? (higher level bio, anatomy, etc)

My father majored in Chemistry and he is now a Dentist. It mostly depends on your GPA, DAT, and grades in pre-req science courses. A pre-Dental group/website should be able to give you more specific advice.

If you’re passionate about comp sci, study it. As long as you have the basic coursework for dentistry and perform well on the DAT you’ll be fine.
