Biology E better curve than Biology M?

I was at Barnes and Nobles looking through subject test books, and I noticed that most prep books give Biology E a ~6 omit for 800, while only a ~4 omit for 800 on Biology M.

why is this?

People who take Bio E do worse than those who take Bio M, you could say that...

Are you sure? I thought that Bio E's curve was slightly worse than Bio M's (since more people take Bio E).

yeah umm bio E you can usually only miss one or two while you can miss almost 5 for bio m...

it also varies from month to month..

i got 800 on bio e in may 08 but you could probably do better in a random month like october, although that wouldn't be a very smart time to take it with respect to academic preparation...

I'm taking Bio E in June.
but seeing how most prep books give M a better curve, I might take M.

I am equally strong in both.

i wonder if you could skim through the questions during the test for E and M and bubble in the test with the easier questions...

yes you can.. you can do whatever the hell you want actually :)

i finished the E section and then went to look at M.. it seemed WAY easier so I was about to erase my answers but I didn't have enough time to erase and answer those again.. although i DID have enough time to answer them

maybe you should skim through both and bubble in a few on the book itself.. but keep your answer sheet clean until you know which one to take.. i finished the first 60 questions in about 35 minutes so i had a lot of time to do the last 20.. i would recommend practicing this beforehand if you want to do it.

the best is just to decide which to do before...

Here's a suggestion. Ignore the advice here. I'm serious. Prepare as much as possible. Enter the test room and decide. Like I told YASS something... no review books have split E or M chapters.

In my case I knew more M q-s than E. I picked M. You don't have to decide anything until you enter the test room. So yeah~. Chill. and 'lax.

swoop, if you marked "M" on your answer sheet, the computer will skip over 61-80, so it was useless to erase. lol

oh no.. i marked E in the beginning and finished the whole test for E but i had some time left over so I looked at M and it was way easier but there wasn't enough time to switch...

you should just take practice tests for both beforehand and then see which one you do better on...

if you do the about the same on both, then which one is better to take (which1 has the better curve?)
