I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this. But, I am a rising senior and plan to apply for BME or Bioengineering in college. For the SAT subject test, do colleges care if I take Ecology or Molecular? I presumed it is best to take Molecular, but I was wondering if colleges have any preference on the matter.
It’ll certainly show your interest in the field - do you know your college’s policy on subject tests?
Just that the colleges I want to apply to require at least one subject test in science and math. I can only take Bio since I haven’t finished physics or chem. I only took Physics I which is barely half the SAT for physics from what I am told.
The way I decided was to take the practice tests for for both E and M. I did much better on the molecular test so I planned on taking that one These practice tests can be found at the college board’s website: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat-subject-tests/subjects/science/biology-em .
