Hey! I'm in CAS and a bio major/pre-med. I want to take BioEE 1780 Intro to Evolutionary Bio or BioG 1440 Comparative Physiology. I'm going to take both freshman year but I'm not sure which one to take first. I hear Bioee 1780 is more detailed but the prelims are straightforward. Also it's not curved?? and Biog 1440 I hear has pretty challenging prelims but the info is more general. I was wondering if anyone of you guys have taken these 2 classes. I plan on doing Bio 1500 Lab in the spring and I don't know which bio class I want to take with it. Thanks :)

bumping this…

Usually classes that are uncurved are easier.

I have heard physiology is pretty tough, but most of the intro bio courses are. I think evo is slightly easier, but I do know some people who had trouble with it. it seems to vary pretty strongly based on students’ interests and aptitudes.

I doubt it makes much of a difference which one you take first, though. they’re both going to be tougher than high school. you might as well just choose whatever fits in your schedule better.
