On the AP credit guidelines page, it noted that Biology credit is given for 3,4, or 5. Does a biology major receive the credit as well?

Most schools do not give AP Bio credit when majoring in Bio or Pre-Med. But I think U of M gives the credit as long as you received a 4 or 5 on the AP test.

I am not sure that they will accept credit toward your major not taken at UM. They wouldn’t even accept my transfer credit toward my major, I could have it as an elective but I couldn’t put it toward my major. You can email an adviser though and they will happily tell you for sure, I talked to them almost daily during my admission process. :P
