Biology placement exam

Has anyone taken the biology placement exam? How is it like?

I took a look at their Bio 101 exam from 2002 and it was almost entirely on molecular biology, nothing on plants (although one page seems to be missing).

I plan to take the exam for Biol 121.

I think you should look at the course syllabus to see how much the course covers. What exam did you get? It could be a midterm, or a final. Or is that exam the one actually used for placement exam in 2002?

The Bio 121 exam is extremeley difficult, they require knowledge of the makeup of the various amino acids.

ridiculous exam...and the class is no better i hear.

has some bio exams, all three are posted. I found it awkward that it contains almost nothing on plant structures and other topics in the syllabus.

I think I'll just take the 101 exam, since I'm not going going to be in a biology or biology-related major.

The other thing is that the sites says you can re-take it. So does that mean you can come back each semeter and take it until you pass? (assuming you're not taking any bio classes)

this is the case.
