Biology/Pre-med at Harvard

How is the Bio program at Harvard? Is there a difference between the one at Columbia and H? How is the pre-med advising?
Thanks

bump...anyone?

Anyone? Please I would really appreciate a response.

The bio program at Harvard is vastly superior to that in Columbia in many respects. First, Harvard has more funds for their facilities and research, Harvard's scientists are better in quality (look at the number of papers they have published), and plus, the Red Sox owned the Yankees. In all honesty, both universities have excellent programs but there is a reason why everybody in the world knows the name "Harvard" and only a relatively select few recognize "Columbia."

I plan on majoring in economics, but from what I've heard from my friends going into biology, Cornell and Columbia have the 2 best bio programs. As for pre-med I'm not sure, but I know that Harvard has one of the best med schools in the country(I'm sure you know that though)

Wvernrider is misguided. Columbia is the best.

My friend who does premed and music at Columbia got into Harvard, Princeton, MIT, and Columbia, and she chose Columbia. You can be sure that at any of those places, the sciences will be very good. Take your pick: which one is the best in all other ways? If you don't pick Columbia, you're not stupid or anything, you're just wrong. And I'll just hate you.

Thank you for that very UNBIASED advice jono....haha

Wvernrider123 ~ baseball has nothing to do with a college's bio program. and the red sox's win this year was a COMPLETE fluke... wait till next year.

What about Brown? Isn't it one of the most popular majors there?
