For those who took the biology e/m, what prep books did you guys use?

I studied PR, kind of read over Barron's (the old one) and Sparknotes, did the practice tests in all 3. I got 800 on M.

i liked the Kaplan book and i looked at the free online review from Sparknotes, should be fine with these.

Princeton Review is nice for a quick cram session. I personally skimmed it over, but found that the details in the review were pretty scanty. If you know all of the information in the book, you probably will score above a 680, but no higher than a 750. Yet, that range is exceptional.

I would recommend the 1998 (?) Barrons review book for practice tests. I found that some of the practice questions actually showed up on the real exam, verbatim. Also, the questions are fairly good representations of what you should expect on the actual exam. However, if you're looking for some speedy review, don't use Barrons. A lot of the information is superfluous and will NEVER show up on the exam. It goes into far too much detail (e.g., scientists' names).

PR + Barrons= You are set to go.

I heard barrons had too much info.... Has anyone used REA and how would you rate it?

Barrons has a lot of info, but it also has info that OTHER books DON"T. lol
