biology question

this is the first time i've posted on cc so here goes

i took the may 3rd biology subject test and scored a 750 on it

i was just wondering what some of you guys got and should i retake it or not

also if i do retake it, should i take the molecular one since i chose ecology this time?

ecology seems almost like common sense, yet almost everyone i know takes the molecular part. I'm not sure what I'm gonna end up doing in october.

Don't retake -- That's awesome! Even for the top colleges.

Yea, even for Harvard, Princeton, etc, 750 and up is right on target. I got a 760 and I am confident when I say I am not re-taking it.

Don't take the molecular section just because you know other people who've taken it... are you better at ecological? Then do ecological!

But anyway, your score is fantastic. If you really want to re-do it, make sure you won't be sacrificing too much time in studying!

retake the difference between 750 and 800 is a bit large in my opinion. I might just be a freak though. around 10 qeustions on a 80 quesiton test.

wow thanks for the input guys

right now I'm leaning toward retaking it because I know I can do better becauseI got 800's on both Math 2C and US history but damn biology....

it would be nice if they had the question and answer service for the subject tests where you could see exactly which questions you missed

If you have 2 800 SATIIs already, i'd say it doesn't matter that much, except for your own personal satisfaction. Clearly you've demonstrated that you can handle tests. I sincerely doubt that those extra fifty points will make or break your college applications.
But if it makes you feel better, take it by all means. CB won't complain about the extra money, and you probably can get an 800. I'd advise the molecular. Its harder, but it has a better curve. That and i don't like reading (most of the E exam...)
