On a typical curve, from which it may vary by 1 or very rarely 2, you can get 6 wrong and get an 800. Why is that so difficult to believe?

for 76, thats the graph, for 21 thats not the graph, inverse is when it is a negative curved slope.

as seen from above I am majorly spazzing...

EDIT- thanks, ill go die now.

I am also very close to cancelling, I may just retake in november (october SAT I). Because there are questions on this test that I just didn't think on, idk. As of now I left 10 blank and got 6 wrong, which gives me a wide range between 680-740 (different curves i.e sparknotes, collegeboard). And I had originally planned for an 800...lol.

xindianx, but would you be willing to learn all of the material again?

exact same situation. Were paying the CB for tests, so the least they can do is to provide us with a clear-cut curve (i know that it varies every time) on their homepage as a reference.

i disagree with the answers for 41,42,42

answers are competition, seeds - animals, and white pines not affected by removal of deciduous trees

I am hesitant on taking it in november only because I plan to take math iic and spanish in november as well. And no, I honestly DO NOT want to study all over again, but man Biology is my heart and soul, and it is my prospective major, and a 700 is NOT my standard, I am not at all trying to sound cocky but I was banking on a 760+.

LOL... MATHIIC and Spanish are what I hope to take in November too :)

Well put it this way xindianx, I ended up studying all of the biology information during AP week, and can vouche for a five. However, with this SAT II, I ended up over thinking the dumbest questions. So yeah, I truly don't know. All in all, I think if you score a five on an AP, hopefully, it'll cover up a mediocre SAT II score.

For all of you who just took the test, which book do you think was better for preparing? Barron's, Kaplan, or PR? Oh, and is M easier as everyone claims?

the treeplot questions! still theres argument!

What was the net primary productivity questions? I put biomass...wasnt sure.........Also, i am a freshman now and dont know what to think. i left 4 blank and seem to have gotten 8-9 wrong without taking biology coure (took living envrionment). I have a 99 average and dont know what to want or hope for. Do colleges see that ppl took it in 9th grade?

I don't know...I just don't want to be expecting an 800 already and get owned on the 20th whens its like a 750.

Plus I studied by Sparknote and their curve is 1 wrong 1 blank, 800.

3 misses is like...780.

did u take AP bio?

me?

I'm a sophomore. Well I was when I took Ap bio. I guess I'm technically a junior now...wow. Its so fast. I remember when I was still like in 7th grade with an apprehension for high school

O yeah.. but i didnt even take bio...i took living environemenet and learned most of the sutff on my own....so im a bit worried...just have no idea waht a good scale to use is and eveyrone saying they are getting 750-800 is scaring me

oh ic. well thats no problem. Since you're a freshmen, a 700+ will be fine. Don't worry yet, theres still alot of time for that later.

Do the colleges know that im a freshman that didnt take bio...or do they just look at the score?

Ill prob take it agian after AP bio neway

Hmm I'm not sure. I don't think they care when you took it, but don't take my word for it. They do look at the when you took the classes, but you know that already.

Ya, I'm not help.
