Biology SAT IIs question?

I plan to take the Biology SAT subject but I am slightly confused about the E/M distinction.
Is Bio E different from Bio M or are they the same exam?

They have about 2/3 of the same questions and then they diverge. Bio E is ecological biology (natural cycles, food chains, evolution, etc) while Bio M is molecular biology (DNA, proteins, carbs, etc). On the day of the test, you can look at both sections before deciding which one you are more comfortable doing.

So there isn’t a completely different exam for Bio E than there is for Bio M? It’s basically one test except for some problems at the end that I can pick either or?

Yes, what you said is basically correct.

Ok. Thank you so much :)

Which one is easier. I heard BIO E is much easier, but I was just wondering about your opinion.

I’ve heard that Bio E is easier as well and my AP bio teacher said that most students take that one.
Since both E and M are in the same booklet, you can really briefly look at both and then see which one you feel more confident about and do that one. You’re supposed to write down which letter you’re going to do before you start, but after i finished with my test the proctor was like “is there anyone who chose one and then did the other?” to give them time to change the letter on the form.
